Biographical Information

Pitcher Allan Winans was drafted by the New York Mets in the 17th round of the 2018 amateur draft out of Campbell University. He was then taken by the Atlanta Braves in the minor league portion of the 2021 Rule V Draft. He made his major league debut with the Braves on July 22, 2023, as the starting pitcher against the Milwaukee Brewers; he gave up 2 runs in 4 1/3 innings and was not involved in the decision as Milwaukee won the game, 4-3.
