Founded in 1912 by the Hopkins Brothers sporting goods stores and later sold to and managed by J.L. Wilkinson (future owner of the Kansas City Monarchs), the All Nations team was a barnstorming squad in the Midwest, based mainly out of Des Moines, IA. They had players of various ethnic groups, including Native Americans, African-Americans, Caucasians, Asians and Latin Americans. Star players included Cristobal Torriente, Jose Mendez and John Donaldson.
