Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Alice Haylett played for the Grand Rapids Chicks of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1946 to 1949. She was 19-11 in 1947 as the Chicks won the league title. The next year, she went 25-5, led the league with a 0.77 ERA, and was named an All-Star. However, she developed a sore arm the next year and was forced to retire.

Overall, Haylett was 70-47 with a 1.92 ERA in 128 games.
