Biographical Information[edit]

Alfredo Granier played college ball at Birmingham-Southern College from 2018-2022. He was a starter during his sophomore season and helped the Panthers reach the NCAA Division III championship game in 2019. He was a part-time player the remainder of his career, playing mostly at shortstop. Born in Venezuela, he moved to the Atlanta, GA area at the age of 9 to live with an aunt and uncle, as his parents wanted him to have a better opportunity in life than what was offered in his home country.

After graduation Granier joined the Houston Astros organization as an Infield & Baserunning Coach Apprentice according to his LinkedIn page. He moved into a full-time role as a development coach for the FCL Astros in 2023-2024.
