Biographical Information[edit]
Alfonso Bracho was a member of the Venezuela national baseball team. He played in the 1952 Amateur World Series and was the shortstop in the 1953 Amateur World Series, when Venezuela won the Silver Medal. He was a cousin (once removed) to Carlos Gonzalez. Noted primarily for his defense as short, he hit .242 in five seasons in the Occidental League.
