Biographical Information

Alexandre Roy is the son of former French national team pitcher Robin Roy. Alexandre attended the 2011 MLB European Academy. In the 2011 European Junior Championship, he was 1-2 with a 6.00 ERA, losing to the Netherlands and Czech Republic and beating Ukraine. He signed with the Seattle Mariners in 2012. He made his pro debut that summer, nearly blowing a 7-3 AZL Mariners lead over the AZL Brewers. He hit a batter, allowed a single and a walk before being yanked; all three inherited runners would score but the M's still won, 7-6.
