Biographical Information[edit]
Alex Pearson pitched for the 1902 Cardinals and the 1903 Cleveland Naps, appearing in 15 games total, of which he started 13. With the Naps, he was two years younger than teammate Nap Lajoie. He also pitched at least ten seasons in the minors, of which parts of seven were with the Lawrence Barristers when he was in his mid and late 30's. He managed parts of two seasons.
Through 2019, the only other major leaguer born in Greensboro, PA has been Joe Knotts.
