Biographical Information[edit]
Hard-luck Alex Malloy went 0-6 for the 1910 St. Louis Browns. He went 0-6 in spite of having an ERA of 2.56, better than the team ERA of 3.09. The team lost 107 games, and while neither the manager Jack O'Connor nor Malloy came back in 1911, the team again lost 107 games in that year, too.
The book "Baseball in Baltimore: The First Hundred Years", has a picture of him starting the season in Baltimore, presumably as part of the minor-league Orioles.
