Biographical Information[edit]
Alex Kachler was a catcher and first baseman at Methodist University and the University of North Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering in 2020 before moving to North Florida where he earned his master's degree in Management. While at North Florida he made Atlantic Sun Conference history by becoming the first baseball student-athlete in conference history to be named ASUN Player of the Year and ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the same season. After completing his master's, Kachler played for the New Jersey Jackals of the independent Frontier League in the summer of 2021.
Kachler began his coaching career in mid-2022 as a Performance Coach at Tread Athletics. He remained in this position until the Toronto Blue Jays hired him in 2024 to serve as a development coach for the FCL Blue Jays.
