Biographical Information[edit]

Alessandro Ercolani has pitched in the Italian Baseball League.

In 2008, Ercolani debuted for T&A San Marino with one shutout inning. He tossed another shutout inning in 2009, allowing two hits, then a third in 2010, this time with a walk. In the 2010 European Cup, he equaled his work total for the 2008-2010 regular seasons, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs in 3 innings while fanning four. He tossed one shutout inning in the 2011 European Cup, which San Marino won. In the regular season that year, he had a 0-1, 6.75 record with 10 hits in 5 1/3 IP. He beat the Hoboken Pioneers in the 2012 European Cup, relieving Gregory Palanzo and allowing two hits and one walk in three shutout innings while striking out four.
