Biographical Information[edit]
Alcides Meléndez was a minor league infielder from 2001-2004, peaking in Rookie league ball. He was a Baltimore Orioles scout in Venezuela (signing Wuilder Rodríguez) and coached for the Tiburones de La Guaira and Venados de Mazatlan in winter ball. He joined the DSL Brewers as a coach in 2017, then managed the DSL Indians/Brewers in 2018.
