Biographical Information[edit]
Albie Lopez pitched 11 seasons in the majors after making his debut with the Cleveland Indians in 1993. He was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks when they won the 2001 World Series. Lopez had a rough postseason with a record of 0-2 with a 9.95 ERA
Albie was 1-0 with no runs in four innings in the 1989 World Junior Championship, when the US won Silver.
As of 2023, Lopez was an assistant coach at Mesa Community College.
