Biographical Information

Alberto Sosa was a Pan American Games medalist then played professionally.

Sosa was with the Mexican national team when they won Bronze in the 1951 Pan American Games. He was 4-7 with a 6.35 ERA for the 1951 Juarez Indios and 6-8, 6.05 for the '52 Indios. He was with the 1955 Aguascalientes Rieleros, then was 7-8 with a 4.82 ERA for the 1956 Rieleros and 3-8 with a 5.19 ERA for the same club in '57.
