After the 2008 season the Bennington Bombers were sold and moved to Albany, NY. The new controlling partners Dr. Eric Margenau and Paul Samulski installed the team at Bleecker Stadium. The team is named after Albany's historic Dutch heritage at Fort Orange. Their manager for the inaugural season was Franklin & Marshall College assistant Ryan Horning.
