Biographical Information

Alan Guerrero pitched his fourth minor league season in 2009. In 2006, he was 0-2 for the Tijuana Toros, giving up 17 hits and 17 runs in only 10 1/3 IP. During 2007, he improved to 7-6, 5.08 for Tijuana. In 2008, Guerrero was 4-7 with 9 saves and a 4.27 ERA while removing to Tijuana's bullpen.

Guerrero joined the Broncos de Reynosa in 2009 and continued to progress, going 9-5 with 22 saves and a 3.12 ERA. He tied Tim Lavigne for 6th in the Mexican League for saves. He then joined Mexico for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
