Biographical Information[edit]
Airi Hiraga played for Japan in the 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup. Backing up Ayako Rokkaku at third, she was 3-for-3 with two walks, five runs and two RBI in a rout of Hong Kong. She was 1 for 3 the rest of the tournament and finished the event with assists in both chances in the field. Japan won the title. [1] In the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup, she backed up Rokkaku at 3B and Yuki Kawabata at 2B. She hit .273/.333/.273 with five runs in five games, fielding .909 while Japan repeated as Gold Medalists. [2]
