Biographical Information

Airi Hiraga played for Japan in the 2014 Women's Baseball World Cup. Backing up Ayako Rokkaku at third, she was 3-for-3 with two walks, five runs and two RBI in a rout of Hong Kong. She was 1 for 3 the rest of the tournament and finished the event with assists in both chances in the field. Japan won the title. In the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup, she backed up Rokkaku at 3B and Yuki Kawabata at 2B. She hit .273/.333/.273 with five runs in five games, fielding .909 while Japan repeated as Gold Medalists.
