Biographical Information

Catcher/corner infielder Adrian Martinez has played in the independent leagues. He began his career with the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League in 2011, hitting .319/.444/.505 with 7 home runs and 50 RBI his first campaign. He later spent time in the American Association, Frontier League, Pacific Association and Atlantic League. He didn't play from 2017 to 2020, but returned to the Pecos League as a player-manager for the Monterey Amberjacks in 2021. He led them to a 14-24, 5th-place finish, while slashing .244/.399/.347 in 38 games.
