Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Adam Seminaris was drafted in the 5th round of the 2020 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Angels out of Cal State-Long Beach. He had to wait until 2021 to make his professional debut as the minor leagues were shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, he split his season between the Tri-City Dust Devils and Inland Empire 66ers, going 6-5, 4.86 in 20 games, including 18 starts. In 2022, he appeared with three different teams: Tri-City, the Rocket City Trash Pandas of the [[Southern League, and the Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League, reaching AAA in less than two full seasons. His combined record was 7-11, 3.54 in 24 games (21 starts) and 101 2/3 innings, his numbers being affected by some difficulties in AAA, where he went 2-5, 5.24.

On November 22, 2022, he was part of a major league trade, joining fellow young pitchers Janson Junk and Elvis Peguero in heading to the Milwaukee Brewers in return for OF Hunter Renfroe. He was the only one of the four without any big league experience at that point.
