Biographical Information[edit]

Adam Kudryk signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011 as an undrafted free agent; the scout was Mal Fichman. Kudryk had a 5-4, 3.40 record that summer for the Yakima Bears. He tied for 7th in the Northwest League in wins, was second in innings (87 1/3), was 5th in strikeouts (69), allowed the most hits (95) and was second in walks (34). The big lefty was let go after that year and signed with Les Capitales de Quebec for 2012; he struggled in four starts, going 0-3 with a 8.38 ERA and 30 hits in 19 1/3 IP.

Kudryk pitched one game for the German national team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He replaced young Daniel Thieben in the 8th inning against Team Canada with a 8-1 deficit, one on and one out. He walked Adam Loewen on five pitches and was then relieved in turn by Martin Dewald.
