Biographical Information[edit]

Aaron Sledd had a unique professional career.

He began in the independent leagues in 1998. After a brief stay his first campaign, he slashed .303/.405/.502 in 1999 and .306/.442/.528 with 13 home runs and 58 RBI in 2000. That year, he was signed by the Cincinnati Reds and went straight to Triple A to play, hitting .214/.353/.286 in 3 games for the Louisville RiverBats. He then went to A ball in 2001, before returning to the indy leagues later that year, where also spent his final campaign, 2002.

Overall, he batted .286/.407/.460 at all levels, and .197/.314/.254 in the affiliated minor leagues.
