A.J. Lizama was the starting shortstop for the Northern Mariana Islands national team that won Gold in the 2022 Pacific Mini-Games. He hit .360 with a .393 OBP, two triples, six runs and five RBI. Statistics are incomplete for the event, but he may have tied Ben Jones Jr. for the most hits (9). It is unclear if he was related to Keoni Lizama. [1]
