89

From BR Bullpen

Number 89 was the last uniform number between 0 and 99 not to be used in a game. At the start of the 2020 season, it shared the distinction with numbers 86 and 92, but both of these were worn by a player for the first time in mid-August that year. On August 20th, the number was assigned to a major leaguer for the first time when Miguel Yajure was called up by the New York Yankees, although he had to wait until August 31st before actually making his debut with the number.
