There were two 2004 European Championship B Pools to determine spots in the 2005 European Championship/

In Rybnik-Zory in Poland, the pool was won by Flag of Ukraine Ukraine followed by Flag of Belgium Belgium (failing to hold on to their spot from the 2003 European Championship), Flag of Lithuania Lithuania, Flag of Slovakia Slovakia, Flag of Poland Poland, Flag of Romania Romania, Flag of Bulgaria Bulgaria, Flag of Belarus Belarus and Flag of Moldova Moldova

In Regensburg, Germany, the host Flag of Germany Germany defended their spot from the 2003 Euros by routing opponents by a composite score of 122-7. They were followed by Flag of Slovenia Slovenia, Flag of Republic of Ireland Republic of Ireland. Flag of Serbia and Montenegro Serbia and Montenegro, Flag of Israel Israel, Flag of Finland Finland, Flag of Switzerland Switzerland, Flag of Austria Austria and Flag of Hungary Hungary. German stars included Tim Henkenjohann (2-0, 1 H, 27 K in 14 IP, 0.00) and Jens Heymer (.773/.833/1.500, 17 R, 16 RBI in 6 G). Greg Frady debuted as Germany's skipper.
