1989-1990 Australian Baseball League

The 1989-1990 season was the first for the Australian Baseball League. The title was won by the Waverley Reds behind player-manager Phil Dale, the MVP. Dale led the league in wins (9) and ERA (1.44). Randy Knorr was the top foreign player, leading in slugging (.617) for Melbourne and finishing second in OBP (.441). David Clarkson of Waverley (.444/.500/.579) led in average and OBP.
