1988 Triple-A Classic
The 1988 Triple-A Classic was the 51st meeting between the champions of the American Association and International League in a postseason series. The Indianapolis Indians won their third straight American Association title, while the Rochester Red Wings won the International League's Governors' Cup for the first time in 14 years.
The Indians would win the series in six games after losing the first two games on the road.
