1976 Southern States Conference Championship Series
The 1976 Southern States Conference baseball Championship Series was held May 8 in Hattiesburg, MS. The first day of games was rained out, forcing a triple header of 7 inning games on the second day. South champion William Carey College defeated North champion University of Montevallo for the title.
William Carey advanced to the District 30 tournament. Montevallo advanced to the District 27 tournament.
