The 1960 International League season was the 75th in the league's history, and ended with the Toronto Maple Leafs winning their first Governors' Cup since 1934. The Maple Leafs would go on to lose the Junior World Series. To date, they are the last IL team to win 100 games during the regular season.

This was also the final season for the Montreal Royals and Miami Marlins. On July 13th, the league moved the defending Governors' Cup champions Havana Sugar Kings to Jersey City, NJ, where they became the Jersey City Jerseys.
