1956 Junior World Series
The 1956 Junior World Series was the 40th meeting between the champions of the American Association and International League. The Indianapolis Indians had won the American Association playoffs by beating the Minneapolis Millers and Denver Bears, while the Rochester Red Wings won the International League's Governors' Cup for the second straight year.
Indianapolis swept the series, and ended the season with a nine-game winning streak.
