1953 Serie A
The 1953 Serie A was the sixth Italian season. In many ways, it was a repeat of 1952 as Nettuno tied for first in the regular season at 16-2, then won a one-game playoff to determine the titlist. They dispatched Lazio Roma 11-3 on November 1 for their third straight title. A newcomer, the Yankees Trieste, placed 3rd.
