1950s Topps All-Star cards

From BR Bullpen

Starting in 1958, Topps issued in its sets of baseball cards a subset depicting the players who had been selected as the "All-Star player" at their respective position during the previous year. This would sometimes be interpreted as the player who was selected to start the previous year's All-Star Game, or had been named as part of a post-season All-Star team selected by a respected source such as Sport Magazine or The Sporting News.

1958 Topps[edit]

This subset was the final 21 cards of the set, including a single card for the two managers and the first ever Topps card featuring Stan Musial. The selections were sponsored by Sport Magazine.
