Biographical Information[edit]
Élson Nishimura was first baseman and cleanup hitter for the Brazilian national team in the 2003 Pan American Games. He got their only two hits in a shutout loss by Team USA's Justin Orenduff, helping stave off a no-hitter. He had also played for Brazil in the 1999 Pan American Games.
