Biographical Information[edit]
Edgar Pow-Hing pitched for the Ecuadorian national team in the 2011 South American Championship and 2012 South American Championship, when they won the Silver Medal both times, and then for a Bronze in the 2013 South American Championship.
He also appeared in the 2013 Bolivarian Games; it was a tale of two outings. In his opener, he went 6 innings against Bolivia and fanned 11, allowing one hit and two walks in a shutout effort; Jaime Torres saved his win. In the semifinals, against a much stronger Panamanian national team, he walked 8, fanned none and allowed 4 hits, 2 hit batsmen, 3 wild pitches and 5 runs in six innings in a loss. Ecuador finished with a Bronze Medal.
