Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Angel Pena played three seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Signed by the Dodgers in 1992, he was in their organization through 2001. He showed both power and an ability to hit for average in the minors, with a high of 22 home runs and a .335 average in 1998 with the San Antonio Missions. In 2001 he slugged .616 in the part of the year he was with the Las Vegas 51s.
In 2002 he moved to the San Francisco Giants organization, playing for the Fresno Grizzlies. After that, he played in independent ball, in Korean baseball and in Dominican baseball.
