Ángel Guillén
Angel Guillen led the Venezuelan national team to a Gold Medal in the 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games; he led the event in wins (3) and ERA (1.29). He had also played for Venezuela in the 1951 Amateur World Series (winning Silver), 1952 Amateur World Series and 1953 Amateur World Series (winning Silver; he was 2-0 with no runs allowed in 18 1/3 IP, finishing second to Manuel Estrada in ERA as Estrada worked more innings with a 0.00. He was two wins behind leader and teammate Andrés Quintero). Guillen never played baseball professionally.
