Biographical Information[edit]
Ángel Gonzales was the youngest player in the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier. The 18-year-old pitched one game for the Peruvian national team. Against host Argentina, he relieved Alex Takano in the 6th with one on, one out and a 8-4 deficit. He walked Agustín Tissera, threw two wild pitches to score a run and walked Jacinto Cipriota. All eight pitches were balls. He was then relieved by Gianpierre Reaño, who let both inherited runners in. [1]
