Since 1920, how many pitchers have streaks of 8+ games of throwing at least 6 innings while allowing 5 hits or less (each time)?

    Cahill has only struck out 38 in that span. He must have an incredibly low BABIP.

    Hellickson has done this in his first 3 major league starts.

    Interesting that one was in 1958 and the rest are since 1983.

    Other thing I notice? Johan Santana has the longest such streak on both lists (10 games), but the least number of hits allowed (27). Wowzas!
