  John Henry player rights sold to the Boston Braves.

• April 23, 1918

  Traded players to be named later and Sam Crane to Atlanta (Southern Association). Received a player to be named later. The Washington Nationals sent Merito Acosta (May 17, 1918) and cash (May 17, 1918) to Atlanta (Southern Association) to complete the trade. Atlanta (Southern Association) sent Val Picinich (May 17, 1918) to the Washington Nationals to complete the trade.
