As part of a 3-team trade, traded Gus Dugas to the Philadelphia Phillies and Glenn Spencer to the New York Giants. Received Freddie Lindstrom from the New York Giants. In addition, the Philadelphia Phillies sent Kiddo Davis to the New York Giants; and the New York Giants sent Chick Fullis to the Philadelphia Phillies.
