  As part of a 3-team trade, traded Pete LaCock to the Kansas City Royals. Received Jim Dwyer from the New York Mets. In addition, the Kansas City Royals sent a player to be named later to the New York Mets. The Kansas City Royals sent Sheldon Mallory (December 13, 1976) to the New York Mets to complete the trade.
