  Traded Bullet Joe Bush, Sad Sam Jones and Everett Scott to the New York Yankees. Received Rip Collins, Roger Peckinpaugh, Bill Piercy, Jack Quinn and $100,000.

• January 10, 1922

  Traded Roger Peckinpaugh to the Washington Nationals. Received Joe Dugan and Frank O'Rourke.

• February 24, 1922

  Selected Alex Ferguson off waivers from the New York Yankees.

• July 23, 1922

  Traded Joe Dugan and Elmer Smith to the New York Yankees. Received a player to be named later, Chick Fewster, Elmer Miller, Johnny Mitchell and $50,000. The New York Yankees sent Lefty O'Doul (September 29, 1922) to the Boston Red Sox to complete the trade.
