Biographical Information

Infielder Zach Green began his professional career in 2012.

He was taken by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 3rd round of the 2012 amateur draft. With the GCL Phillies that year, the 18-year-old hit .284/.333/.426 with 3 home runs and 21 RBI in 74 games, walking only eight times to 43 strikeouts. In 2013, he batted .252/.344/.478 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI in 74 games for the Williamsport Crosscutters, K-ing 91 times in 270 ABs, and in 2014 he hit .268/.316/.402 with six home runs and 43 RBI in 84 games for the Lakewood BlueClaws. He decreased his strikeouts to 65.
