Biographical Information[edit]

After finishing college in 2010, Zach Bove immediately moved into coaching baseball. In the fall of 2010 he was an assistant coach for the Kathleen High School Red Devils before becoming their hitting coach during spring season. In the summer of 2011 Bove was an assistant coach for the Winter Haven Loggerheads in the Florida Collegiate Summer League. He then moved onto coaching college players. Bove served as the hitting coach for the College of Central Florida in 2012-2013 and as their pitching coach from 2014-2018. He helped develop Nate Pearson, who was drafted in the first round of the 2017 amateur draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. Bove also spent two summers (2014-2015) as the head coach for the Rangers in the Central Florida Summer League.

Bove joined the Minnesota Twins organization in 2019 as a pitching coach for the GCL Twins. In the COVID-19 year of 2020, he worked as a Special Projects Coordinator for the Twins. Bove spent 2021-2022 as the Twins Minor League Assistant Pitching Coordinator. He was known with the Twins for using analytics and biomechanics in working on pitchers' development.

When Bove moved to the Kansas City Royals in 2023, he took on a dual role. He was an assistant pitching coach with the major league squad while simultaneously working as the organization's Director of Major League Pitching Strategy. Bove continued in these roles into the 2025 season.
