Biographical Information[edit]

Yung-Chin Lee Wu played in the CPBL. He had a pitching stance similar to Craig Kimbrel.

Lee Wu was selected by the CTBC Brothers in the 8th round of the 2016 CPBL Draft, and he had a 11.14 ERA in the minors in 2017. He went 0-3 with a 4.06 ERA in 2018, and his ERA was 5.40 in 13 games in 2019. Lee Wu made his CPBL debut on September 29, 2020, and he ended up pitching 2 games with the big club in that season. He recorded a 4.21 ERA in 21 appearances in 2021, and he also pitched 4 shutout innings with the big club. Lee Wu then had a 2.00 ERA in 6 games in 2022, but he allowed 5 runs in 5 2/3 innings in 2023; his ERA was 2.13 in 31 games in the minors in the latter season.

Lee Wu's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 88.9 mph), slider and curveball.
