Biographical Information

Pitcher Yuko Abe played for the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1961 and 1962. In 1961, he had a 27.00 ERA in his lone relief appearance, which lasted one inning. The next year, his mark was 1.93 in 4 2/3 innings. Overall, he had a 6.35 ERA in 5 2/3 frames. He allowed nine hits, a walk and a strikeout in 5 2/3 IP. His NPB career was over before he turned 20 years old.
