Team History[edit]

In January 2024, the Pioneer League announced its newest team, the Yolo High Wheelers. The High Wheelers played the 2024 season on UC Davis' campus at Dobbins Field, and would use temporary lights as Dobbins Field does not yet have lights. In their first year, the High Wheelers would go on to win the Pioneer League title, defeating the Glacier Range Riders in game 4 of the series. Following the championship, the High Wheelers announced they will play the 2025 season in Marysville, CA as the Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers. Jerome Williams was the pitching coach in 2024.
