Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Yovanny Cuevas joined the Chicago Cubs organization in 2015 and played in their minor league system through 2021. He spent most of his career at the rookie league level, only reaching Low-A for a 23 game stretch in 2019. Overall Cuevas hit .241/.369/.356 while appearing in 272 games.
Cuevas moved into the coaching ranks with the Cubs in 2022 as a coach for the ACL Cubs. In 2023 he was the hitting coach for the DSL Cubs Red squad. Cuevas returned to the ACL Cubs in 2024 as their hitting coach.
