Biographical Information

Yoanni Yera has pitched in the Cuban Serie Nacional.

Yera debuted in 2008-2009, going 4-1 with a save and a 5.91 ERA in 10 games for Matanzas. In 2009-2010, he fell to 0-4, 7.20 with a .339 opponent average. In 2010-2011, he struggled, going 2-7 with a whopping 8.55 ERA and .403 opponent average. Yoanni made huge strides in 2011-2012, going 10-3 with a 3.50 ERA. He tied for 6th in games pitched (38). He was put on Cuba's preliminary roster for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
