Wang then relieved Chin-Wei Lin Wu against Canada, but he allowed 6 runs in 2 2/3 innings to complete a back-and-forth tourney for the champs. He had the highest ERA on the Gold Medalists but also had one of only four complete games for the Cup. [1] He also represented Taiwan in the 2021 U-23 Baseball World Cup. The Rakuten Golden Eagles signed Wang on August 20, 2019. [2] He spent his first four seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues.
