Biographical Information

The younger brother of Takao Kajimoto, Yasuo Kajimoto was a teammate of his brother's for six years with the Hankyu Braves. He allowed five runs in three innings of work in 1957 and 3 in 7 2/3 the next year. In '60, Yasuo was 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA in limited action. The next season, he had a 1-1, 2.93 line in 15 games, then in a career-high 25 games and 43 2/3 IP, he was 1-1, 2.66 in 1962. In '63, he finished his career with a 4.13 ERA in 15 outings. Overall, he went 3-2 with a 3.20 ERA in 132 innings in 64 games in NPB. After retiring, he worked as a banquet administrator for the Shin Hankyu Hotel.
