Biographical Information

Yamichel Pérez has pitched for the Gallos de Sancti Spíritus. He debuted in 2007-2008, going 1-2 with a 5.29 ERA in 16 games. In 2008-2009, he had a 5-2, 4.36 season followed by a nearly identical 5-3, 4.25 in 2009-2010. In 2010-2011, he fell to 6-5, 5.36. On March 26, 2012, he served up a homer to Jose Dariel Abreu; it was Abreu's 6th straight game with a dinger, tying the Cuban record.
